I know this has been discussed before but when I search for it I don't find anything recent in the last year or 2. Here goes. I'm in need of upgrading to 35 spline chromoly shafts in my 60. So there's 4-6 different companies with shafts available and several different warranty options from them. I've read good and bad about Yukon but most of the posts were more than 3 years old. From what I understand currently their shafts are made in India but their quality control is much better than what it use to be. What are peoples experiences with them as of late? I would plan to get 35 spline inner and outer along with the superjoints. I would love to go the RCV route, just don't have that kind of coin right now.

make sure to get the hardcore hubs too

I have full yukon up front with Spartan locker. Haven't had anything apart since install few years ago. So I don't really know how well they are holding up. Pretty stuff though :D I recommend the hubs and buy them from the vender CCOR

I've had my Yukon Stubs in for 3-4 years now, haven't fallen apart yet. Warn 35 spline hubs haven't given a lick of trouble either.

for what its worth lots of guys if they have the NON neck down inner stock spicer shafts they call it good . stock there 35 spline .

then spicer 35 spline outers and spicer NON greaseable u-joints for most strength .

then Yukon hubs or spicers with inner gear broched out to 35 spline.

my self I have not poped a 30 spline outer my self in my dd/beater/playtoy/plow truck with 9ft fisher plow. and parts store xxx brand greasable u-joints.

but when I pop 1 they will get spicer 35 splines and the spicer u-joints and modify the spicer hubs I have in it already .

Yeah runnin neck down shafts in mine, not overly worried. Spicer grease able joints have been great so far.

My HP60 has Yukon inners/35 spline outers as well as Yukon hubs and I've fully beat the snot out of them with my ARB locked with no issues to date.
I know I only run 39's but with 5.38's in the axles and my doubler capable of a 5.5:1 low they see some serious input torque.

I picked up the Yukon alloy shafts because my 60 had neck-down shafts. Been running them around 7 years with the non-greaseable Spicer joints and haven't had a problem. 38" tires and a Lockrite. I'm running factory Spicer lockouts broached for the 35 spline outers.
