i just finished lifting the front of my k20. ive got 6 inch springs with zero rates so 7 inches total. and i need to lift the rear a true 6 inches to get it level. i was planning on just running blocks for now. but it will only be a temporary thing. i just need to get this truck on the road. do they make a six inch lift block? or could i run a slightly smaller block and a zero rate? is it even safe to run a zero rate with blocks?

I'm sure someone makes six inch blocks. :eek1:

thay make a 5 1/2 lift block i know for sure. not 100% on a true 6"

and by the time you buy blocks / ubolts / and time to install all of it. just do it the way you want 1 time and save 1/2 your money .

i dont have the time to get it done the way i want right now. and it just a street truck. but the truck needs to get done in the next 5 or 6 days. i have a really good hookup at 4 wheel parts but they dont sell the shackle flips or zero rates. and i would like to keep the stock springs. i know 4wp has 5 in blocks. i might just get those and deal with the fact that it will sit a little low in the back. im just really strapped for cash till i sell my car and need to get my truck working asap

i would say so because it bolts to the spring. it wont go anywhere, its just like any other spring.

Why do you need 13" of lift on a street truck? :screwy:

In your case, I would go with a regular add-a-leaf & a lift block combo. Both are available from your 4WP buddy.

13" , he is looking to lift the rear to match the 6" springs and 1" zero rate he has on the front.

In that case it makes plenty of sense, If you read the original post it could be either way

13 would be a pretty big street truck. haha. i just need six in the back to level it out and make it match the 7 in the front.

Blocks + zero rate will be perfectly safe too since the zero rate bolts into the spring pack like an add a leaf.
