On my 89 3/4 ton 'burb DD, I have a 1" body lift with aluminum pucks and new bushing, 2.5" springs in the front and greasable shackes and bushings. In the rear I have a block that makes the whole truck level. (I will be switching to a shackle flip and a block/shackle combination to level the rig.

I want to add 1" of lift to the truck to fit 35's. I would like to move the front axle forward the 1.5" also and do this with zero rates. Hopefully I can keep fender trimming to a minimum. My question is this though.

What is going to happen to my steering when I do this?

If I am going to loose steering functions... what are my options... OTHER THAN cross-over cause I ain't doing that until I put the D60 under the front.

There really are no other practical options. Move the steering box forward. When the axle goes forward, the draglink gets even shorter.
