Picked this up in KS from @eodcoduto
Took a lot of legal tracking on his end to make a case for a clear title and I much appreciate it!
So Gage here are more pics from the outside. Still can’t get the doors open, but when I do and get all the ratshit cleaned out, I’ll get more pics of the inside and underbody.

Cool!

Doors seized or locked shut?

they are locked, no keys, and perhaps siezed as well, trying to manipulate the inside door handle to unlock has been a failure.

anybody decipher what this sticker may have said? I'm guessing it was the dealership sticker.

Finally got the door open, the latch was rusted and frozen up on the striker bolt. I gently wedged a prybar in between the door and jam and started beating the hell out of it....minor damage to the door edge and jam, but not a big deal.
About 3-4 inches of rat shit all across the bottom of the door. Cleaned most of that out, then cut the brackets for the bench seat and
pulled it out and got the floor pretty well cleaned out, as well as the cab corner areas. Luckily this was all dried out, so although quite nasty, it could have been much worse.
Once it was cleaned out pretty good, I peeled up the rubber mat, styrofoam insulation and most of the original tar matting from the floorboards...no holes!
A good douche with bleach and then a pressure wash of the whole interior. Next will be fuel tank removal.

All the shit is outside the barn now..lol
The seat is full of it and sitting outside, probably haul it out back and dump it in the woods.

Thought about it, but didnt want to have the smell of burning rat shit floating in the air.

Looks a lot like the '64 GMC 1/2 ton I bought two years ago...but mine was rustier. I am not sure I have fully scratched that itch, might need another 60-66 sometime in the future.

My first ever vehicle was a 64 C10. I've always liked the fender badges on the 64 the most of the 60-66 trucks. I keep thinking it would be fun to take a truck like this and make it into a trail rig.

I also kinda want to find new tires that are similar to the rear tires on this pickup for our 66. Since we're keeping it mostly original, I feel like those tires look more vintage farm truck with those. But I'd want radials for sure.
