Ok, dumb question.
But my little zip tie drawer in my toolbox is out of control. And I want the drawer back for useful things.
Who’s got a good zip tie storage and organization trick in the garage?

this has @Deuling written all over it.

Cigar tubes work for the smaller ones..
Friend uses a piece of peg board on an angle bracket on the shop's wall to hold them..

PVC tubing capped on one end and secured to the wall at an angle using metal pipe tape. Works best when you have exposed studs.

i have something like this.. i''l take pics when i can remember... 2" PVC capped on the bottom in various heights, screwed to a board/wall...

I also do the zip tie around the bundle. I store the bundles in a big ziplock bag and put the bag in the lower drawer of my toolbox. The issue I had making a storage device is that you never seem to always have the same kind or amount of zip ties. A big clear bag works best for me.

I currently have my bag of 100+ zip ties sitting in a plastic Folgers coffee jar,it has a snap lock lid,but most of the larger ties are too tall to let it be closed..the 2+ foot long ones go in a screwdriver rack on the garage wall..(I use it for a lot of other things, not screwdrivers )..

I have a coffee can full of quarters I used to make calls at the phone booth with. When I didn't have a map book in the car and I got lost.

That reminds me of the after market bench seat cup holders with the slots for spare change for parking.

... I sense a lounge thread... Reminds me of (oh hell I'm old now)
