Because it had been a wood floor. 1" oak, and we used 3/16 steel for the floor, we needed a spacer between floor and braces
some minor dings in places would be taken care of latter during real paint and body stage
the replacement box we bought had really good sides. We stripped and painted everything for now, but bodywork is still coming
I knew these cable spools needed to be kept for something
coated everything well with paint and then truck bed liner for the underside parts
all the braces from the wood floor were great, so we re used them
Our new floor for the step side. Steel 3/16 checker plate or diamond plate I guess
