That's awesome to go from a stuck engine to running and not smoking horribly. You really need to change that rear bumper. I can't handle it on there all twisted like that, just remove it at least. LOL.
That’s the plan this week. Need to see what brackets are bent so I can order some.
Tranny fluid was really low, so I added 4qts and topped it off. Threw a temporary “seat” in it and took it for a quick spin around the yard. Everything seems to work good. Couldn’t get it up to speed at all due to the drive shafts being bent from the previous owners, but I did get it to shift into 2nd gear for a min. Was also able to get just a bit of mud on the tires lol.

My driveshaft is bent from the current owner and I drive it at speed every day.

Picked up a new column today at the Lawrence swap meet. Moved the ‘75 up towards to garage to set timing, adjust the idle, and swap the new column in.
Nice work. On my way to work yesterday some old timer cruised by in a ‘75 K5 in the same mint green color but with the white center stripe on the side. It was completely original and made me think of yours.
She’s a beaut
With summer smacking us in the face and basically skipping spring, I decided to pull it in the garage to work on it today. Fixing the last fuel leak hopefully and then start cutting the floor up.
Found the leak. Should be good to go now with the fuel system.
Fuel leaks finally fixed. Got it timed and idling nicely. Took a quick drive down the road and back, and man this thing runs good! Started to idle really high right as I pulled in, so I may have had a vacuum line pop off.

Also mounted a seat in it due to the fact that my fat ass destroyed that little wooden shelf thing I was previously using lol.
