‘76 K10 SWB Silverado "Pops"- Off to its new home!

Mostly stock rebuild.
So being a ‘76, does this most likely have a TH350 and 203 t-case?

Cool!!!

My Buddy just picked up a 79 K10... it has the TH350/NP205 in it. IT MAY have been added later in life, since it also has a fresh 350 in it as well.

Thanks man! Yeah I thought about the TH350/205 combo being a possibility.
How long has this been sitting?
Not real sure. Couple years maybe. It got parked due to a locked up starter.

Well after the truck fell of the trailer, we loaded it back on with the bobcat. The bucket slipped off the frame rail and destroyed the grille and moldings up front. Not a massive setback, so thankful that wasn’t worse.

Truck on its way home.

Grille damage.

But at least it’s safe at home now.

Too bad about the grill. That could be hard to find unless you don’t care about the year.

I got a wall full of grills but not a 79 Chevy one. I’m sure someone close to you will though.
I got a super mint 79 GMC grill.

And congrats on the cool new project!

is this a 76 or 79? title says 76 but is referred to as 79. if it was a 79 the gas tank would have door openings and not caps on the bed. also door panels are 76 and earlier.

Yes it’s a ‘76. Was told ‘79 originally, so that’s why the references. Sorry, I thought I caught them all.

I think this truck will get a Blazer rear bumper. Piecing parts together at my work to get an idea of a build cost.
