It’s alive!!!

Wife shot some starting fluid in while I cranked it over and boom! She lit!

Immediately noticed a fuel leak at the pump, so I shut it down.

Fixed the fuel leak. Rubber line near the pump had a split. Jumped the starter again, still not able to crank at the key, and it fired right up again.

So my next question, why would I have no starter at the key? Something disconnected from the firewall to the column?

Park/neutral switch maybe?

Switch out of adjustment or even the mechanical not working right

Can you hear the Cam and rod rotate?

Did you swap in the new engine harness yet? My guess is you have another fusible link that is open.

It did have power, but still wouldn’t start. But......

So would this have anything to do with us braking the parking pawl when it fell off the trailer?

Or perhaps I am still missing a wire.

According to this diagram, I am missing a wire as I only have 2 wires coming from my starter.



It appears I am missing my switched source, but there is no wire down there for it.

I guess i'll sit tight until I look at my new harness this afternoon.

New harness showed up. I was missing a wire at the starter still. Oh well. New harness will most likely go on tonight.
