‘82 GMC “Junkyard JIMMY” {Build bash Rebuild}

Hmm this could work out...... You may want to see how well mine works on the trail first lol

Man that ceiling looks complicated. Why did they want all those curves in it like that? You did a really good job though. What kind of building was it?

Nice job on the ceiling!:waytogo:

I used to do t bar ceilings for a living and I`ve done a little bit of steel studs. But mostly t bar.

Thanks guys. It is located at Barona Casino out here in the hills of So Cal.
The arches are in an Italian restaurant dining room. They were finished with Venesian type plaster which is 3 colors and is supposed to mock old Italian architecture.

It's complicated because I couldn't figure out an easy way to do it.

Thanks mang.

I guess I'm going to go ahead and replace my yokes & U joints. I've seen a lot of rocks this past summer...

Waiting for pics of today's find.

Thanks for being on call brother.
I found some 3/4 tons already mostly removed. It had a 14bff rear, 10 bolt/8 front & the diff cover looked like a lil dana 60 so I called Mike & he confirmed it is what it is.
I was stoked because I knew K5Jess got his 14bff for $120 out the door so I was sure I was gonna get these for cheap. They wanted $370 each!
I don't have $700 right now, but on the 30th everything is 50% off. Maybe I'll go back.

But for now:

I got a good front drive shaft.

Good score. That's the same grille I have on my truck. You'll like that a whole lot better than the lame '81-'82 grilles with the turn signals in the bumper. Whose idea was that anyway?

Let me know if your going on the 30th. I need a front drive shaft pinion yoke(that's why my ujoint broke). And some other random stuff

Thats a friday. You going to chula vista or oceanside? let me know and maybe Ill make it out, with tools this time!!!! :waytogo::haha:

The sale is 50% off on Fri 30,Sat 31, Sun 1,and Mon 2.

I was in Chula Vista.

Grille looks beautiful. I think I'll paint mine black like yours instead of gray like I have it now. You've inspired me.

Chula vista is way too far! Ill call my local yard and see if there having the sale too :waytogo:
I know it's too far for you. The good thing about CV is that there are at least 3 separate yards with Chevy trucks. Oceanside has only 1 yard. There is a website: www.pickyourpart.com
What are you looking for?
