I'm gonna try to convince my buddy to tow my K5, with his dodge.

I know your rig is the new body style, but the 4.7's are the same.
I take the 67 thru Ramona to the 78, then the S22 down the anza burego grade.

I have flat towed and trailer towed the JIMMY with no problems at all. I've towed across rivers and thru the sand with ease.
I'm rockin the 5.7, 4x4 and have the tow package on there.
I can tow a space ship if I want to.

Also 4x4, tow package, LSD, 4.10's, etc.
It tows all of our camping sh*t, and the quad, easily.
And we towed HELLA stuff from Concorde to sac...
.... It could work.

Nope... I guess max towing, for a double cab, is 6,900lbs.

If you wanted to you could just drive the tundra down and leave the blazer. The trail runs are super easy with various routes around hard parts.
The 4x4 training area is a kewl spot to see a bunch of sick rigs doing crazy technical sh!t or just tool around and stretch the suspension spot.

...According to the website they are planning to make a pyramid like in Prairie City.
The NOTCHES is a crazy spot where you can watch a bunch of drunk kooks dry hump a ditch in the middle of nowhere with broken down beaters. fun times!

I used to burn mine too! Then the fire department showed up like a S.W.A.T. Team and that tradition went to hell. actually now i know how to legally get away with it.

People around here just throw them out at random places. Like on the side of the road or in a parking lot. Anywhere. You see old dead brown Christmas trees year round. It's pretty weird that all you have to do is just sit them out on the curb and the yard waste truck will dispose of them. Seems like it would be more trouble to load them up and haul them around until you find the "perfect place" to dump them.

In riverside county, you not allowed to burn trash or anything else for that matter. HOWEVER, you are allowed to keep warm! So if you start a fire to keep warm, they will tell you just not to keep warm like that again. That was info from my local fire department after they came to my house.
It's so much fun to light them up.
...As I was driving down the state the other weekend I got to thinking about camouflage patterns.
I snapped a few pix while I was driving because I could imagine some California Cammo.
This hill side caught my attention because of the bright colors.
Dark green and rust red? I would have never thought of it.
Deep rutted hill side.This got my attention because of the lack of color.
Superzoom and this one has some rust color in it and it kinds of looks like a beat up body panel.

That's funny. How cold was it that day, btw?
I guess it's so dry out there in certain times of the year that they can't risk having a wildfire start.

Not sure but it was pretty cold. I was cleaning up the driveway and garage and the tree had to go. Plus i was freezing. One of the neighbors saw smoke and called the fire dept. wildfires??? I live in the desert, sand doesnt burn!That's funny. How cold was it that day, btw?
I guess it's so dry out there in certain times of the year that they can't risk having a wildfire start.

Good point. Actually, if sand gets hot enough under the right pressure, it will turn into glass I believe. 
I'd like to visit the desert one day. Those pics that Paul just posted are really nice. It would be so weird to me to look out there and see no trees. Cool too.

Wow thanks for posting those. I think I remember watching the vid earlier in the year. Lots of nice scenery and cool terrain out there for sure. I can see why they've been having TDS Safari for 60 years or whatever. You're a blessed man for sure.
