No such thing here in cali version 2.0. I did buy a bottle of stabil thoughHopefully you're putting clear gas in it..... As in 0% ethanol.
I’m pretty sure most of it is 10-15% here.Hopefully you are buying all the E10 you can!

I'm thinking that is actually the dimmer switch. I believe I seen them in LMC catalog. But what Zoo said, relay ftw.If it was me I’d put a set of relays on the headlight circuits. That cooked bulkhead connector is byproduct of running the power from the battery, into the cab, through the headlight and dimmer switches and then finally back out to the lights.
The old wiring increases the resistance and puts more load on everything. Which you end up with the fun you found.
The existing wiring does the switching on signal for the relays so it doesn’t have the same current load. The main load is pulled directly from the battery to the headlight. Shorter path and newer automotive grade wiring it can handle the load.
On mine the voltage at the lights went from 12.3v with the engine running and alternator putting out 14.4v. Once the relays were installed the voltage at the lights was at 14.3 v. Even with plain halogen lights the brightness was noticeable.
Good replacement housings with led elements will surprise you. Combined with relays they toss a lot of light. The relay's definitely helped make my headlights brighter. But even then, the lack of light is scary. I like my modern HID's.
Oh god yeah, I have led’s in the K5. Low beam is awesome and high beam isGood replacement housings with led elements will surprise you. Combined with relays they toss a lot of light.
Yeah it is going to be sweet. My dmv appointment isn’t until the end of March to get it registered, but that don’t stop me from cruising around the neighborhood. That would be a fun truck to rip around with!
Haha! My 77 has never been registered since I’ve owned it.Yeah it is going to be sweet. My dmv appointment isn’t until the end of March to get it registered, but that don’t stop me from cruising around the neighborhood.
