I’ve always used the ones that came in the engine gasket kits , they are the ones you’ve listed above.
yep those are they, and yes 2 diff part numbers int and exhLike these? Looks like there’s a different part number for intake and exhaust View attachment 486861
Oh, I was thinking like ngk then.43 are cooler than 44-45 that color looks pretty good to me.
Hopefully there wont be any oil after I do the seals. It only smokes on startupI’d go 44. may help with the oil
I’ll definitly stick with ac delco. I just meant i was thinking the lower the number the hotter, like ngk is. I run ngk in all my jap bikes and quads. That is oem for them.Ngk is fine. I use to do fleet service. Zero failure from autolites or Delcos
I always figured that would be an "embrace the suck" kind of job. But you'll be happy when it's done.Man, i’d rather swap the whole engine than do valve guide seals. I did get a new tool from summit and thats making it alot more manageable at least. I got the driver side bank almost done but keep getting side tracked with girls sports haha. I might have it done by the end of the weekend!

It is definitly not fun by any means. But I believe it’ll be worth it. Engine runs so well other than the startup smoke. The old seals coming out are pure toast.I always figured that would be an "embrace the suck" kind of job. But you'll be happy when it's done.
And "side tracked with girls sports...", if I didn't know you have daughters, I'd be really intrigued what you meant by that.![]()
