‘90 Suburban Denver

Rescued from Colorado.
Well, my a/c job didn’t last. She’s got a leak at the connection on the back of the compressor. The sealing washers don’t seem to be the correct combination with the machined pocket on the compressor. It looked off to me but it held vacuum for hours. It does not hold 300psi. It has been farting freon and oil over the last week.

Yes are several different thickness washer/seals
Compressor should have come with a couple options to use
Correct, and It did. I played with a couple different ones and thought it was good. Apparently not. I bought another Murray assortment and will try again.

With the new headlamps I could actually tell they were on and see the road. But as I figured would be the case, I am spoiled by the leds in everything else I drive. So, put some leds in. The first set I got had a 90* connector and would not clear the metal tabs on the factory buckets. Returned those for a straight style with a short pigtail. Still had to tweak the metal tabs out to clear the heatsinks, but tonight will be the test on the road.

I am interested to see what you find. I saw a set of LED conversions of LMC housings 8+ years ago and the light went way up high on low beam. I didn't need to see the tops of the trees on low beam.

I guess I forgot to take night pics. They are definitly bright enough for driving now. They have some weird shadowy spots in the light probably because of the reflector in the low beam housing and the led bulb combo. Still happy overall that I can see at least.
