‘90 Suburban Denver

Rescued from Colorado.
This 12 step program starts with, "just get it running," and usually ends with, "I'll keep the next one mostly stock."

Truer words never spoken!

Btw, I belive these b-52’s are off of your
Burb.

That Doubler is ancient Gen 1 stuff. We built those from about early '98 to 'late 99 or early 2000 ish. That one will have a 27 spline shaft coming out of the 203 and a factory drivesleeve system between that shaft and the factory male input in the 205. In a Burb, I'd look to pay about what the 203 and 205 are worth and plan on buying a new adapter kit. The 27 spline setup wasn't super beefy when you double the torque on it. Not terrible, but not reliable in a heavy rig with decent power which is pretty easy to create.

Drove Denver across town on the freeway to dear daughters volleyball practice. Ran great and looks sweet. Quite a bit of bump steer and sloppy compared the K5 but nothing scary. And the speedo is right on with the 37’s and 4.56’s.

can the girls climb in this daily ??
Funny you say that. My girls manage because they are used to the stupid shit I do, but their vertically challenged friend is absoloutly hillarious to watch try to get in and out!
If my home refi goes through, Denver will be getting to try out an amp step kit from engineered vintage.

It will also be getting a nv4500 and new clutch.

Pulled the upper interior panels to remove the headliner and mouse house. Repaired the wires to the overhead console lights.
While the trim is out, i’ll find and fix my freon leak at the rear air.
