01 SAS Wheeler/Driver 3link

Damn... Beautiful work on the frame man! The stance looks perfect too. What size wheels are those?

I've been thinking about headers right now. I know it would be way easier to install them before I burn the towers in and need advise. I have very little room for the driver side to clear the upper link. I know Sanderson headers has some tight fitting headers but I have to call if an egr valve is in passenger side. Not sure if custom ones would be cheaper or better.
Stock replacements just put the flange in the same spot. Here is my clearance, all driver side:

Sure looks like headers would have to be custom. Might post up with those pics on one of the late model sites.

I had a similar issue on my buggy,

Block huggers and take the exahust around the front of the oil pan sump

Here is an example I had saved.

I'll try to see if I have the header part number. I remember it was from summit, I believe hooker header and under 250

Thanks for the ideas guys. Shawn I actually have that done on my k5. The exhaust doubles back up front and under the pan. I got some Sanderson headers dropped off yesterday. They are aupposed to be the tightest fitting LS shorty header. So, I'll try that today but after looking at them I'm not too sure they'll work. Might just have to have some custom ones made and be done with them

I've got hooker block huggers on my 5.3l, they're pretty tight against the block. I could have wrapped the pass side around the front of the pan. If I lower my truck any I'll have to actually.

Well, looks like the Sanderson headers are a no go. The #1 tube hits my motor mount and I would just clearance the motor mount but if I did that I would run into oil cooler lines. So I don't see a point in trying to make these work if I can find something else or just have some made. Poop!!!

The ones I have are part number 2312hkr.

Thanks, I looked them up and my main issue is keeping it smog legal. I'm pretty sure my next step will be ordering some flowtechs from summit. They are cheap, just painted and I'll be able to cut and modify them to my needs.

I got the shifter all in and buttoned up. I went with the older style because I like it better and hope to wire the lights in one day. I plan to color match it a little better too

well, I just didn't feel confident that I could get my mig tip in there to weld up the panhard bracket. I bent them out to clear and feel better about it. I'll whip up something to fill in like the other hole cover.

I tacked the bottom tabs on and started flexing and turning the wheel. Not so good. Ended up hitting the springs against the xover arms.
The tabs were right against the outer C's. I moved them in about 3/4" and back to hopefully clear everything. Ill find out tomorrow
