$1.50 Headlight Adjuster Solution

At the bottom of the page is 2 that should work. They are kinda like Badmix posted.

I think this is what I'm using in a couple of places:

I think I just bought them out of a "Help" section at a local parts store.

I searched high and low the Help section in all the stores around here and didn't see anything like that. If I had, I wouldn't have done this. I'm still only $1.50 and about 20 minutes into it though. :D

Thats why I usually bounce some of my ideas off the CK5 crowd, lol. I figure if Im thinking about something, someone else has probably had the same thought.

When I seen this thread, It just reminded me I need to work on that, I had thought about this last year when I went to replace my headlight and had to buy new plastic thingys and at the time I was like "I need to come up with a better mounting solution", Im just a slow starter I guess. lol.

I should have my parts tomorrow. I tried the HELP section here as well, nothing. so I dont feel to bad about having to order them.

I made a set of 8. I used the 1/4 x 28TPI nuts and a 1 1/4" washer. I installed 1 yesterday.

I had to cut a flat spot in the washer for the curve of the headlight opening. This also kept it from spinning.

make sure to get some install pics, having a hard time trying to see how this goes exactly. although I ve already installed my own version, still always cool to see other ideas, always more than one way to skin a cat. lol.

I took a few pics today. The install was too fast for pics but you get the idea. The hardest part was pulling the battery.

This thread inspired me. I'm going to fix mine up next week with nuts and washers.
