That would rule out the custom 9" then:D Might as well run a 10 bolt till you break it and search for a 14SF in the mean time
 
Yea a shaved Currie 9'' with 40 spline cromemoly shafts and a spool would be nice, I should have been born rich!

I've all ready got a 14bsf 8 lug under the k5 which will be getting swaped for a 14bff soon. The problem there is the 6 lug conversion, some say re-drill others say drilling wont work buy the kit. well the kit is out and I dont know if later model six lug shafts and drums will work or not.
Welded is the only option for traction in the budget at this point as the money from the taxes this has to go on tires, gears ,tube and some other odds and ends. As allways thanks for the .02 anywho!
 
nah its more like 2 inches IIRC. There are guys on here that can give you the exact number but 4 inches sounds a little high.
