yea i am buying synthetic rope. much easier to deal with.
Which one is a knock off. I like the Bulldog winch and wondered if anyone else had oneThat is a rebadged POS Mile Marker knock off
Heck i drug my blazer over the wheel chocks at one point, and it was in granny gear with the ebrake on! and the wheel chocks are the big heavy duty ones that they use on the fire trucks!
).Synthetic rope will run from $2-300 depending on the length and size you get. Its lighter, safer and easier to deal with than cable, I'll never run steel cable on a winch ever again.
Where do you recommend buying the synthetic line? I ask, because I just bought a 12.5 T-Max from Jesse.
We will watch and wait.
No problem i dont mind being the guinea pig! I must say that pulling my blazer over the wheel chocks was very impressive. maybe dragin around a stripped out wheeler is simple but my bumpers alone weigh 1000lbs. this is by far no light weight blazer. ask anyone who has seen it. my buddy was sitting in the truck with the brakes on, ebrake set and in granny gear. im willing to bet that just bout any of your trucks couldnt drag it without the wheel chocks let alone with them! it pulled the front wheels over it like i was rock crawling the swampers (tire flex) and they have 32 psi in them.

and for those of you that go wheeling every weekend and need to use a winch? think maybe you should save the money on the cheaper winch and put the extra money into building a better rig! lol

. We will see how well it does.. A friend of mine has a 8000 mile marker for over a year and he goes out almost every weekend and it's still going strong. My only problem with the 8274 is its size. I'd like to tuck my winch (in the distant future when I get one) back under the grill. That isn't gonna happen with an 8274.
