Re: 14 BOLT FRONT AXLE
[ QUOTE ]
If I ever went to the trouble of a hybrid axle, it would be a Mog 9 (Mog portals and 9" center) or a 69 (D60 knucks and 9" center). I like the 9 due to strength, options, clearance, weight, easy service, and it's extemely common with great parts selection.
[Edit] And while we're talking about Ford on GM, what about 31 spline 205 inputs, 32 spline front 205 outputs, hi-pinion 60s, 57" springs, bronco coils on some of the coil conversions, pitman arm and shock towers (already mentioned), starter relays, and I'm sure there is more...
[/ QUOTE ]
Someday I will do the same thing. I want a 69 axle, but not till I go coilover up front. I like the lightweight compared to the 60 and the ease of welding.
