17 Ram 3500 DD minor upgrades

Battery was 11.8 volts after unlocking and the headlight and running lights on. Turned them off, 12.0 volts. So it may be on its last leg.

The truck fired up first turn this morning. I knew it would, because the gauges came to life when I turn it to ignition.
Thats terribly low voltage. I’ve seen old/bad battery cause al kinds of wierd electrical issues.

My Superduty does all sorts of odd things when a battery starts going bad, in our old world of vehicle understanding NOT a single issue would point you at needing new batteries.

PS.

Doesn't that Gnome a day advent calendar kick in about now? Inquiring minds want to know!

PPS.
Pictures of said Gnome calendar would be the Gnomely way to show your friends how greatful you are for the lovely gift!

I guess that's what I get for taking the weekend off and not ever really looking in the Lounge. But I got to bring Gnomes into this thread too so, Winning!!

The truck would not reconize the key yesterday morning. Battery was at 12.5v. Tried jumping to check. No change. Drove the ReTonkukous. Checked when I came home for lunch. No dice.

Got home at about 3:30. Wind howling and 21* out, so I figured I would workin the garage on the truck. Fired right up.

Started this morning with no issues. ??????????????????????????????????
