Didn´t get a quote yet on the 17", but assuming I won´t get more than one or two people interested, the price might be at $1000 per wheel... which I understand is more than most would want to spend....

I appreciate the kind words. Maybe the design will make somebody jump into the boat... we´ll see!
Got it. And yeah it looks nice but geez, my wallet, checkbook, savings account, loan officer, etc., would all say that I'm nuts for spending that much for one.

thanks! Well, maybe, if we get enough people interested and the number would really go up, Hutchinson would drop the price....
But I doubt we´ll get enough people to have 50 or 100 wheels made. That would lower the price, I´m sure!
But even ~$700 would be too much for most, I imagine....
What you need to do is ask them how many need to be made to get to a certain point.. Like what does another bead lock of the same style cost?? Then it might change people's mind...

I already asked them to quote it for 5, 25, 50 and 100 wheels, to see what difference it makes. Haven´t heard back from them yet though.
What makes this wheel kind of cool is, it is forged, very light and I think it has a timeless and classic design to it, that fits our older trucks well.. doesn´t look too modern. Like a modified white spoke wagon wheel kind of....
Problem is, the more I look at the rendering, the more I like it and want it on my truck!

Just got info back from Hutchinson on the 17" double bead locks.
Specs again: 17x8.5" on 8x6.5" BCD, 4.75" backspacing, forged, weight: 31.8 lbs fully assembled..
25 min quantity -> $1200 per wheel
50 -> $1100
100 -> $1000, etc.
Powdercoating would be available in sparkle silver, argent grey and flat black.

So based on these specs what is really different about these wheels vs. their current "Rock Monster" wheel offerings?

It seems like they might already offer GM/Dodge/Ford 8-lug wheels in 17" sizes with a few different backspacing options.
Is this something fundamentally different, or just a different "look".
