1939 Truggy tear down, NOW BUILD THREAD

I finally got to work on the truck

new cross member. 2x4x1/4 wall goes through the 3/16 plate.

Grade 8 bolts go through the 3/16 plate and 1/2ID .120 wall DOM to the frame rail. Should be strong enough. The top front bolt will be enclosed when I box the frame.

The winch will also hang from this. When the 4 link front end is done, most of the structure in front of the steering box will be gone.

Next is the steering column and brake booster.
 
I ****ing love it!!!! HURRY up and get it done, I wanna see this pig on some rocks!!

rebuilt steering column. Completely gutted. ing. switch, blinkers, wipers not needed. 4 inch and 3 inch exhaust tubing.

The truck has been moved to make room for my dads 34 chevy coupe.

Dad is not doing well and I have decided to finish his hot rod so he can enjoy it soon. The truggy is now on the back burner.
 
My only question is how is the leg room? seams those old trucks are pretty tiny inside.

I have been trying to get an old willys jeep pickup from a guy I know for years i bet its pretty small too.

That is the reason for the new floor. Drivers side was lowered and the throttle pedal will be a push down instead of forward. I am 5' 6" so it is not so bad. A 6' guy would have issues.
