Thank you!

Yes, Dirt every day, editor for Petersons 4 wheel and offroad, etc. He is a super cool guy and even made a point to come back later and check out the wagon and had a chance to talk with him for a few....with the builds he's been a part of....it was an honor to get compliments from him!!! He even snapped quite a few pics of it as well !!
Was a really great weekend....even if it was a Jeep show :eek1:  :D

You gotta get lots of pics of his first time driving it! :pimp:

Absolutely!!!! Planning on trailering it down to him (about 6 hours away) Aug 10 I think...pics and vids for sure :waytogo:

Soo...I guess this may be the "end" of this build thread in some ways...the Willys has been in dad's possession now for a few weeks and from what I hear he has been having a blast with it..

Here are a few final pics I have...

Always knew it would need some sort of steps as the step in height was about 29" and the front frame area never looked finished but we could not find a bumper that "fit"...

I've got a few videos...just need to figure out how to post them :doah:.

It's kind of weird with it gone....I couldn't be happier that dad is finally able to enjoy it...but at the same time I miss it, I have more hours, blood, sweat and headaches wrapped up in that old wagon then any other project I've ever been involved with....looking back it was honestly alot of fun....fun seeing it progress into what it is today, fun driving down the road for the first time, fun seeing people break their necks checking it out :D I have more then one scar from a welding burn, or a sharp edge that got me while building it...those are my "Willys Tats" :waytogo:

Im sure its tough to move on, but you've got to be proud!

Looks awesome, and he looks to be enjoying it!

It`s just to bad your dad lives so far away from you.

And I`m kind of sad that it`s done...I loved to see the updates!
One of my favorite body styles ever.

Oh well guess we will have to stay it tune with your next build! :thumb:
