1968 c30 "Papa Smurf" prerunner build. links, beams, and turbo

Spent the day Saturday at the dunes giving rides to Veterans at the event "Heros on the Dunes" put on by Operation Injured Soldier. Had a blast and ran the truck hard for 3 straight hours. Finally had something break on the truck. The crawler breather I used to vent my 9" couldn't keep up and burst from the pressure. It might have blown out an axle seal as well, I noticed it when dropping off a rider and picking up another. I wrapped the breather with some duct tape and kept running it. So idk how much oil is still in it so I'll pull apart the 9" and put some new seals in it I think. Drove it the rest of the day and never had any issues. Trucks working awesome.

No rub. Everything clears like it should. And I need to go pick up my new springs still. Been running it the same way for the last 3 weekends. Gonna take this weekend off tho from dunes to change up a few things to try some new stuff.

I vote you stay way too busy wheeling it to even consider bedsides.
This! 12 weeks left and the dune season is closed here. I had plans to keep working on it this summer, but now that it's running and working so well I just want to drive it. I'll save any major changes till this winter. For now I'm just getting seat time.

Great works of works. I'm glad your works are working out so well. You deserve the payoff.

Seat time is a good thing. Great payoff for the hard work.
