Pics? HeheheI put the stainless one in my '70 K10 and the black version in my '72 C10. Both are from LMC. I believe that the black one is powder coated, not positive but it has no sign of rust yet.

Yes, I know. Hahah. But they look cool and add a nice little flare to the cowel area. But yes, in my case it's more cosmetic than for the intended function. If your truck will be parked near a dirty shedding tree I would. Yours is pampered in the garage, so personal preference
Looks clean either way, I'm sold. I may rattle can them black thoughThe black one is going gray. But so is the stainless one. It was brushed, not polished.View attachment 435275![]()

I have no idea how I posted one picture twice..
Thanks, I like it as well. I like the stance but I do contemplate on bringing it back up to stock height. It was lowered by a previous owner.I'm not much of a 2wd guy, but this thing is cool. Not putting gaudy aftermarket wheels on it really helps.

I have the chrome with blue bow tie hub caps but they were so expensive I don't want to run them unless it's to a show.I would paint them blue since the bowtie on the hood is blue.
Definitely get rid of the yellow.
Even though yellow and blue make green!
It’s just paint, I vote for giving it a try. If it doesn’t look right paint them blue. But I think the green would be cool.I have the chrome with blue bow tie hub caps but they were so expensive I don't want to run them unless it's to a show.
But yeah, good idea about doing them blue. The yellow for sure clashes with the color scheme.
