1969 C10

Slow process of putting it back together.
Since I blew it starting another thread here it is. Passenger fender is installed. To bad the driver side was too damaged for repair. I have a replacement but it doesn't have the hole for the "8 350" on it.
Not even sure the CST10 will work either

You have the correct bolt for the inner fender to cab.

The emblems can get added by drilling the holes as Wes said.

You will need to install the top bolt into the fender brace, then check the width by beginning the hood installation and setting the hood to fender gaps.

Are they extras? Were they bagged and tagged for the fender? If all of the holes are full, they go into the "leverite" bin. "Leave her right" there storage bin.

Sign of sick mind, that garage has no clutter.
Looking good, how are the gaps lining up?
Surprisingly well, I didn't need any shims, so far. We'll see once I get someone to lend hand with the hood. Took me about 5 hours to get all this done.

the hood stops will be a bitch as the holes are slightly off. I may just open them up a bit with a drill to help nudge them in.

Looks like I'll be in Phoenix early Wednesday, till Monday be stuck at track, unless I steal my brother's tow behind. Was going to tow the buggy but they are not allowing "off road" vehicles, at there discretion.

I work. But I'm off around noon Wednesday, stop by if you can..

The hood bumpers should be swapped with those 2 bolts in the top of the fender braces.
Like this, because the landing pads on the underside of the hood are forward.

I see...
I will swap them tomorrow. The hood stops go on top of the grille corner?

I don't have a pop rivet gun to do those 4 rivets on the grille. I though I could use bolts to hold the grille in place. But I see what you're saying... I think

It doesn't show well in my picture, but I used button head machine screws. I believe that I used chrome ones, but even unpolished stainless would be cool to me.

Yes, the hood stops go on top of the grille.

Cool, I have some screws laying around. I don't want to rivet the grille in.

What return sprigs should I use?
Lokar supplied this double spring with the smaller inside the bigger. But when installed it feels like far to much tension. I removed the inner and now the tension I similar to my blazer, kind of.
Or I have this spring kit?

how much tension will suffice for the return spring?
