1969 C10

Slow process of putting it back together.
Went ripping around town and figured why not snap a couple pics of its good side. Also drove past the neighbor who wanted buy it when I first bought it and said I'd never finish it. He said "wow! It looks great, good job"

He also said, "I'm first in line when you want to sell" hahahahahah..

Got to love the haters, I was also told I wouldn't ever get my truck running again and it won't work.

Yea
Hood and fender....
I was eyeing that box set but, my $$ is in this truck right now.... and probably
forever. Hahahahaha

You get the vinyl set or cd? It looks like the vinyl one

1st RUSH concert I went to Moving Pictures, on the floor at the Fabulous Forum in Inglewatts, road out there in the bed of 66 chevy pick up and the party was on.

Killer show, LOUD as F, 9x since that 1, and the very last back at the Forum, and still LOUD as F.

Trucks gonna look killer with the fuzz coat gone.

I saw them 5 times. Amazing band.

Yes I agree. I hated looking at that fender and the ratty hood. So, hopefully he can match them enough to the existing paint. There will for sure be a difference in color I wager, but hopefully not too extreme.

.. looks great and way better than before. But damnit, the greens even though he can blend them close enough, still won't match. He said he could do a couple freshen-up coats on all the green for few $$ more. Then they would all match. New green with 20yr Arizona sun fades green?

I want it done properly and I think having him do all the green is the proper thing to do for the truck, certainly not my wallet.

I don't neeeeed to eat, do I?

What would you say the value is of this truck? I've been browsing around and it ranges from about $30k-$45k. Almost everything is new except the 350 block.

Yes, it's worth what someone will pay but if any of you listed this for sale what would you start the asking price at?

Just wondering so I have it covered properly with Hagerty.

are you going to have all the paint freshened up? that will affect value.

For insurance take the like value of a recent sale and add 10k. Then 8% more every year after that. So at least 40k this year

40k ask, maybe settle for 35k if you aren't in a hurry. If you need the money around 20k. Somebody out there will have a hard on for that truck, slammed short bed, 67-72.

Yeah, I'm in no rush at all to sell but if someone offered me $35k it would be hard to not take that $$.... and then.....start all over again. Hahahaha probably try a 73-78 suburban or something VW bus related pre 70'.
Hahahaha
