1973-75 rear side panels dried up!

Did you guys who used LMC passenger side quarters have a problem where the panel was half an inch short where it met the tub/door jamb? I had to have my body guy weld in a filler strip. I thought it must have been that I lined it up wrong but my body guy looked it over, measured etc and said "nope, it's just short"

Seems like thats what I ran into. I cut it loose and welded it where it needed to be...never occurred to me to do a filler strip...hmmm

76-78 on eBay, slightly different
At the B pillar but would work with a little mod.

I put 81 quarters on my 74 years ago. Took a bit of work.
Capped the B pillar. Some fab where they are welded under and two bolts inside around the B pillar.

I’d settle for an original section in good shape just around the gas filler to go replace the filler door with the original round hole.
