That's what I was thinking. Scott, you just need front fenders or you looking specifically for brown? fenders?73-79
If you find some, I can haul them back for him
The color won't matter because they will have to be painted one way or another whether I find a match to the current color the PO painted it or if I got with another color altogether. That's what I was thinking. Scott, you just need front fenders or you looking specifically for brown? fenders?
I have a set that I took off my blazer. They aren't perfect but pretty good. You can have them if you want them.I also think I will add the wheel well trim pieces. The old paint shows thru the new paint along the inside edges anyway and every time I wash the truck a little more purple comes off. The trim will cover the inside lip and also a little of the outer part where the rust is coming in.
So here's the stripe done on the passenger side. It's printed vinyl.

I didn't quite hit the body line around the front of the front fender. Also now that the stripe is on, I see how much higher the bed is compared to the cab.
Still have the driver side and tail gate to do.
I probably would be interested. Isn't supposed to be anything perfect about this truck as it's destined to be a daily driver.I have a set that I took off my blazer. They aren't perfect but pretty good. You can have them if you want them.
Yeah, I was thinking that myself. Guess they are more worn than I would have thought. The only thing I need to check is if the original owner of the pickup did anything weird with the bed. He hauled a camper in it. It has some trap door contraption in the bed floor I'm assuming was for access to dump the waste tank. Never know what other odd things he might have done under there. It's a low truck and I'm too fat to really crawl under it so I haven't look very closely. Two tone looks good. Time for some new cab mounts.

my first tire shop boss said if he ever seen tires go out the door with the blue still on them we were in big trouble as the customer paid for white NOT blue .Oh, and I hope @sweetk30 appreciates the chalk line is still on the tire....![]()

The big problem with the Van sickle paint is just getting your hands on it. We can only get it through Big R farm stores down here. They have not been restocking very frequently. The three stores I can go to, one in Canon and two in Pueblo are always out. Pisses me and Larry off. So we are about ready to switch to tractor supply and use the oil based stuff they sell.
