Here are a few pictures of the truck...sorry, I don't know how to resize images. They were all taken with an iPhone and they seem big.

To remove chrome the best is sand blasting.Let's talk rims for a second. I think I'm going to reuse the rims I have. But, I am going to derust them and I would like to paint them white. Anyone have any experience with formally "chrome" rims that have turned 63.4% rust? I'm assuming I can basically sand them down really good, degrease, prime, paint and then clear coat them. Any issues with that plan?
I think I am going to have to do this on my '85 (not full vert) to get every spec of some A-pillar rust so it never comes back. Unfortunately I have no advice yet, as I'm neck deep in fixing my bed floor currently. Drilling out all the spot welds is going to suck a lot.I’ve decided I need to remove the entire cowl/windshield apparatus.
