1975 K5 Floor Repair

Wow is that floor different than the newer years. I just replaced the passenger side on my project and fabbed up all my pieces from some heavy gauge stuff I had laying around and it wasn't toooo bad. Just a cutting disc (or 20), air hammer, torch to manipulate, and a good hammer, drill etc. All worked out ok in the end...but still have the drivers side to do.

Good luck on the work, wish mine was a full convertable. :waytogo:

Had some time off today so I delved into the floor, got the plate out that the PO put down

I just bought a '87 with the same issues. My LMC parts just came in as well. Good luck with yours. At least you started, I'm still trying to figure out what weekend I will be able to start.

Coming along slower than I want, ha. Hardly any time to work on it during the week right now (I am a high school lacrosse coach on the side, so that has been taking up weeknights and weekends lately), plus this past weekend I took a trip to Memphis, and this coming weekend I am going over to Dallas, then camping for Easter weekend.
So as of right now this is still how she sits, but trust me I will post as progress is made.
On a side note...has anyone rebuilt the rocker boxes that would have pictures for ideas?

Asking about the rocker box because I would love to be able to get rid of the bottom on the box, allowing it to be open so junk doesn't get trapped in it anymore.
