1977 Chevy C10 shortbed resurection/restomod/ratrod

Time for the interior to get some attention. Pulled the bench seat to start mocking up low back bucket seats. GM provided dimples where the rear bolt goes and I had Adam make up the brackets I need since they are impossible to find and I'll need multiple sets eventually.

Only one hang up on the 76-77 buckets, GM moved one hole from the 73-75 design. That will be an easy fix to add a rivnut while the seats are torn down for new upholstery though. Although, this bracket design lowers the seat approx 2" compared to the bench.

I've seen your post before, but I don't understand what all those brackets are.
I thought you one need the one?

That's all I used when I did mine.

One per seat. I plan on putting a pair of bucket seats in my truck so I need 2 of them. They weld to the floor to create a front mount point where the floor drops.

I know that. I mean what are all those other brackets.

The bucket seats use the same sliders as the bench on the driver side. Because of that, they don't bolt directly to the bucket at the front and require two adapter brackets. The passenger seat doesn't use sliders from the factory and uses brackets to bolt it directly to the floor.

It was also cheaper (per set) to make 10 sets than just one so I made extras to sell on Ebay.

Gotcha. Now I am trying to remember what I did to put my 91 suburban buckets in my 84 cab. I don't think I used all of those brackets.
These brackets are for 1973-75 low back buckets with 73-80 bench sliders (set up the way GM offered them in a regular cab pickup).

1981-91 Suburban buckets with suburban sliders only need two floor brackets and flip the rear foot.

That's what I thought. I thought I just had two brackets I welded and had to bend some of the tabs to match the floor and they bolted in.

So that's how those brackets from Dueling work... Thanks for the explanation.
