1977 Chevy k10 "N Debt" build.....Dash install completed

Making more progress, everything is pre-wired and ready to go. Just have to run new heater hose, run new speaker wire, hook up electric spedo sender, and bolt the dash in. I can finally see the end of this project, I can also make out the bottom of my wallet very clearly :haha:

Just a quick update, dash is almost complete. Just have to install temperature sending unit and fuel sending unit. With any luck I will know how slow I am going soon:waytogo:

Lookin' awesome! The dynamat is a great decision. I've always thought, our old trucks were a bit noisy and hot on the firewall.

Did you have the dash powder coated?

No I stuck with good old fashioned rattle can, I didn't want to wait til I had the scratch to powerrcoat

I officially have a fully funtional set of guages:thumb: Except for the fact that my gas guage reads 1/2 when empty and past F when full. I'm assuming that it is a bad sending unit since it did the same with the stock gauges. And I need to figure out how to tame the high beam indicatoor, it seem brighter than the high beams themselves:haha:

Both switch panels and gauge panels can be disconnected via one and sometimes two harnesses

Gauges are lit up although it's hard to see, the white illuminates blue

Another shot of the gauges, the stereo is a little hard to reach but that was the only spot to put it. Luckily it has a remote.

Thanks man, it took a while but it was worth the wait. All that's left is plumbing the vintage air heater and wiring the cig lighter and USB ports

Quick update

So I got sick of doing things I had to do and decided to do somethings that I wanted to do.

Replace cracked engine cross member with an ORD cross member

Next on the list is deal with the death wobble:confused::eek1:

Quick update, this weekend I welded in the patch panel on the passenger side cab corner. I know I'll get yelled at by a few people on here but the bed is offically gone so it will be time to tart the flat bed. And the best news of all is I have gotten rid of the death wobble at least for the time being by adding two washers under each steering arm:thumb:

Nope just a little rust inside the bed, very easily fixable. It's just not the direction this build is going. I figure the less sheetmetal I have the less the rocks are gonna get. By the way Kert I'm gonna be calling you some time this week to order degree shims for the Dana 60 my castor is no bueno

Well guys I've been awol for a while but I figure I've been paying my yearly fee I might as well post a progress picture. It's getting really close to a shake down run, just need to mount the fuel cell and re plumb the fuel lines.
