1977 K5 Blazer (Betty The Blazer)

Just got this 1977 K5 Blazer and my dad and I are making it into a wheeler
This is what I have done to it so far! I've replaced the front and rear axel with 3/4 tons, as well as swapped the rear brakes from drum over to disk, it is sitting on some 35s as od right now but hopefully soon I will be upgrading to 40s!IMG_20210327_195804_425.jpgIMG_20210327_195804_455.jpg

My plan is to get is to get it ready for mud and snow, my buddies always go out mudding and up in the snow and I wanted to get my own rig and join them!

Hey guys so I'm having a hard time figuring this out if any of yall might have an idea, I have all my brake lines hooked up and I have already bled them as well and the master cylinder is brand new but for some reason it is still very very slow at stopping? Any ideas? I thought it would be stopping on a dime with front and rear disk brakes.

Two things come to my mind. Either the booster isn't working, so you have a hard pedal. That would increase the effort needed to get it to stop.

The other issue could be your proportioning valve. Is it designed for the disc/disc or is it a standard disc/drum? Many that go all disc use an adjustable valve on the rear to dial it in right.

I've not done the swap myself, but those can cause issues.

Okay thank you! I will definitely check that proportioning valve out because that's what my co worker told me as well, but no it was not standard disk I had converted it from drum to disk. Thank you again!
