great progress and i just discovered your tx case reinstall thread. i had the same experience when i had to pull my transmission for a rebuild before i decided to do the frame off. i could not have dealt with that heavy sob myself like you did. i even looked up the weight of it on google afterwards. it was the heaviest 160lbs i have ever messed with

It wasn’t fun. Then darn thing fell twice trying to install it. It’s a very awkward 160lbs. I really wish GM would have designed the case differently.

Mock-up until new lug nuts arrive. Not super aggressive in appearance but that costs more $$ than I could afford. Besides an A/T should be good enough for now. Sure beats the dry-rotted ones they’re replacing.
