1979 K30 Pile of Hillbilly Crap.

You can see pics everywhere else. Went to the river with my pile. No drivetrain breakage. Had 2 rockers back off and bent a push rod. Ended up loading it on the trailer thankfullly some one else brought after driving it off in 6 cylinder mode. New longer rocker studs, better ploy locks, 3/8 push rods and guide plates should be here friday. Had plenty of power. Time to find a little more.

Only one worth showing, I made it with a little run at it and alot of wot.

I wish I would have got one more of it after you were a little farther up.

It is a Pile of crap. The others look much better. Still disappointed I didn't do something about the rockers before this weekend. I knew better. Hope I didn't wreck anything. Did order some 3/4" offset tierod ends for the tie rod to go high steer and hydroassist.

I think it looks OK with the box sides. It keeps lots of stuff out of cab. If I would ever find a nicer cab (with a/c) I am not sure if I would keep the box sides or not. For now they are staying.

New longer rocker studs, better poly locks, 3/8 pushrods and guide plates. Everything is all good in bbc land again. Time for 5500+ in the sand again. checked all the axles grease after the river run and no signs of water. Did find a leaking brake line I need to fix and a place that must have got hit by a shackle when it pulled through one of the sillys we wheel with frame end since none of them can build a hitch. Pics to come

I guess I am now the proud owner of a tunnel ram, a second 425, 2 800 cfm holley base plates and a second model E. Now to find a small cap dist and buy linkage.

If it doesn't work like I hoped I will just put the other 425 on my k10 and dual fuel it.

I am trying to decide what aircleaners to run on the tunnel ram.

I ordered a dist and linkage for the tunnel ram. I also ordered the shackle mounts from ruff stuff so I can remove my front tow hooks to loose a little more over hang. Scared the tunnel ram will be a waste but if it doesn't work I will just pull it and go back. No hood cutting till I can compare it directly to my 1000-5000 rpm chassis dyno tests.
