1979 K30 Pile of Hillbilly Crap.

I read something he posted wrong. He was talking about how he did it before without using a spreader. I thought he was saying he just did it recently. Oops :haha:

Still need to get my hydro steer on
My new pile of parts consists of
off set tie rod ends
all the parts for the tunnel ram swap

School seems to cut alot of time out of my fun.

Not to hijack, but what do you go to school for? I meant to ask a while back when we both had the week off between quarters.

Ya not going to happen if I can help it. I want to be a plant engineer or reliably engineer. I don't want to sit in on office getting fatter.

Also the K30 CC I just bought was a wrecker. I one of the small things I am going to steal off of it it is a brake lock. It is just a manual valve that is right off of the M/C with a knob going into the cab. It will be great with a winch and when I want to open the gate without shutting off the engine and putting it in first.

Wheeled this weekend and went up about anything the tow hooks would clear (working on changing then soon). Went right up a hill marty tried to kill me on not only going forward but also backwards. My hillbilly beadlocks caused problems all day. Same tire went flat 2 different times. Started with 8, then went to 12 and finally 15. I left the rears at 8 psi and didn't have a problem. I know I need beadlocks but I which there was more of a budget band aid for now. Maybe I should keep the drw 60 I have and go h1 wheels.

They require more money and my accountant doesn't think I can deduct them.

she isn't blind. I need to find some to trade for. It isn't like I don't have a **** load of parts around. I kind of promised craig the drw 60.

We will see. I may just weld on 1/8 rod around the bead to hold the tires on, diy4x style.

Guess I am going to get a rust free late 80s cab for this truck this weekend. Not so much to make it nicer to look at but to have a solid foundation for the interior roll cage plus the plan was always to a/c the cab and it seems to be easier to just swap it. Not a fan of the power windows but I am getting it for scrap price.
