1979 K30 Pile of Hillbilly Crap.

Also not sure what to do about the vin. I would rather have it say 79 1 ton encase I ever move to some of those NAZI states you guys live in.

For some reason, I thought you were going to get a late 80's front end to go with it :dunno:. Im sure you will end up narrowing the front anyways. It will be damn nice to have a/c and no rust though.

I don't plan on narrowing. It will look like the rest of my trucks now. I like the 79 front but looks are not one of my concerns. I was thinking about what to do with the box, still up in the air.

These are back from when men where men and plates were steel and stamped in the prison.

Flat bed or truggy, the whole narrowed long box design never grew on me.

Crew cab truggy? I suppose the CC is not a/c tho? or just shot?

Keep the narrowed long box.

This for the most part. I am not sure what I will do with the box yet. Paint it or wreck a box that Rachel's dad has that is the same color. Seems like a waste to wreck another box. This cab will need some work. Needs Carpet, the dash put back together and some wireing removed. Not sure what to do about the seat yet. This may be a bit slower project.

As much as I will miss the '79 front end, I think it will look pretty good in the two tone. Not trying to hate, but I think your old box is too far gone to fix or paint a different color. If you have to do the dove tail thing again, you should just get the good box from Rachels Dad. That way I won't feel as silly for fixing my box side someday. :D Those are just my opinions of course.

Love this truck! Makes me miss NE every time I see the 33 on the plates. Spent a lot of summers learning what county was what #. Can't remember many anymore.

I know most of the Eastern ones, it's the high numbers out West that I don't remember.

33 is Jefferson County by the way.
