Thinking about recentered 8 bolts. Concerned about too heavy.

He said it would be too heavy for 8s but then talked about a trailer. I no longer tow with that truck. I would have rock rings added when recentered.

I want to be able to use stock wheels. I think I am just going recentered 8 bolts with the half rock rings in white.

I always thought a set of plain, recentered H1's, without a cheesy rock ring, in white would look bad ass.

If you go 12 bolt I think you can get away with it. The 8 bolt are thinner metal at the flange and will dent easier thus they need some form of rock ring. If not they will end up looking like John's stock wheels after last weekend.

That is 300 more for 12 bolts. I feel like I am pushing it now.

I would run rock rings. I had a set of 8 bolts and the outer rings got beat up pretty good and leaked. I'd consider the inner rim stiffener, too.

^^This. I have heard this before. I am in the market to get these recentered 8-bolts too. I was gonna do rock rings, PVC's, but never really thought about the inner rim stiffener too. Might be worth it for the peace of mind.

Who are you gonna go through to get them? TrailWorthy Fab, or someone else?

trail worthy. I may have to drive to get them 200 is the shipping price.
