1981 K20

6" lift. 3/4 ton axles.
Well "mild" change in plans.

This truck is now getting a 7.4 out of a late 90s burb, as well as a nv4500 out of a 97 truck.

Unfortunately it won't be me doing it. My good fat buddy bought this from another friend of mine.
So it's gonna stay in California and be built up to be legit soon.

So you are not getting it back?

Meh it's all good. Now I'll get to talk about it every day helping my buddy plan out what all is getting done to it. I'm gonna do something else out here once my wife gets thru nursing school

Then SAS 98 2500.:thumb:

That is actually the very reason I bought it.
Paid too much for a truck that is hard to find when I could've gotten away with a basic tbi pickup.

But I wanted a 6.5, with the manual, with a np241 and a 14b ff. I'll spend the next year or so just making it a good driver. When she gets back to work after school I'm getting a newer crew cab and the 6.5 is getting a 60 and losing the bed. This is what I decided on our trip back from Tuttle. I bought the 6.5 so I could list my SS for sale. But I wanted a wheeler that was good on the highway and had ac and a radio so I could be like john haha.

Sounds like a solid plan. I'll make sure the first trail they go on isn't a deer trail like the first we went on.:haha: I'm still surprised I came through without body damage.

Haha, that was a joke:haha:

I just pushed through, not even thinking about it.

I'm used to it from following him.

That was pure finesse. I wish we had some pictures from the outside to show just how tight that squeeze was.

Well I'm gonna post an update to this cuz as soon as my buddy figured out his PayPal and I'm sending him some money.

I'm buying it back and going to ship it out to me in NE.

Since I sold it two different friends have owned it. Each one wheeled it twice and did no work to it.

It's coming exactly as it was when I sold it, minus a few small parts, plus one medium dent in the fender.

Also will come with a fitech efi system and a big block out of a late 90s suburban.
Been working on this for a few weeks so I'm pretty damn excited to get it back.
