Wade, just how long do you think it would take YOU to finish that truck once you had it? Or maybe, how long before it was on the road?

This thread is always interesting to read... :haha:

:haha: I like to keep it interesting.

I have a vested interest in that truck. I painted the firewall and will buy it when he decides he has to pay for a honeymoon.

You are on the top of the list who I want to show this truck to. I want to make you happy and give it a nod of approval. I can't wait to give you the keys and say let it rip.

Of course you are.

Going to take a look at this on Friday morning.:thumb: have cash in hand.

So it's the standard half ton body and chassis with an one ton rear axle and front hubs to match. Wonder why they didn't make more of those. Seems like lots of customers would want one, but they probably wouldn't know the difference.

I have those same wheels on a Ford pickup except they're 5 lug.

Looks like a cool truck. Hopefully it's in as good shape mechanically as it is asthetically. If it is, you'll have yourself a nice truck for sure.

My neighbor has the same truck. 1500 but 8 lug axles only thing he wished it had was towing mirrors. Nice looking truck. Good luck.

Eventually I would like the towing mirrors. I believe it even has the 2500hd frame. It has been awhile sense I have seen one up close.

I think it will do me just fine, it might get tow dutys once. Year hauling this thing to Moab. I'm just tired of trashing half ton spribgs doing truck things.
