Yes I agree, I might give it a try before it gets painted and if it looks horrible I'll sand it back down.

Dang, is there anything you cant do? :haha:

I have a Harbor Frieght HVLP gun, not sure if that will be sufficient enough. I go back to work Monday so I hopefully will have a schedual I can present to you on a day.

Lol, we bought it for spraying wood working. Do you happen to have a gun?

As it sits right now, the engine and front sheet metal is completely pulled. I might have to clean the firewall up for some things I wont be using for the swap.

Don't have one with me. Get it ready.

Going to a meet n greet Thursday night and wheeling Saturday hopefully. Other than that and Glamis the day after thanksgiving, I am wide open.

You must be meeting up with the AZOffroader gang. I post a little on their forum mostly in the for-sale and wanted section.

Sounds like a plan, I will let you know ASAP.

Also, I have qtr inch steel for the front hitch mount. I will have to sand it down and it will need to be cut.

As far as the engine cross member, I think that will have to wait. I will explain that in person, I don't want to spill the beans.

I can't thank you enough, I will provide anything you mention to make you happy.

Any reason not to other then extra work to remove it?

I ordered up the steering box brace.

Are you planning on stripping the wiring, heating and brake assembly off of it? If not, it will be difficult to make it look good with the high mica color you want to spray on it. All of the sealer around the components needs to be stripped. Are to trying to spray the tunnel also. If so, that needs to be stripped also.

Good cleaning. Scuff well. Primer. Sand. Repeat until smooth. Then you can lay down color and clear. Not sure if that's the route you want to go.

Sound like I better get busy, what primer would you suggest?

I would like to remove it all and start fresh.

Start pulling the stuff off. The easy to use and high build stuff it would use for that is the SEM spray can. Easy to use. No gun clean up. Gets into tight areas.
