This is pretty damn accurate to what I have seen and experienced. However I would recommend speaking with your Fluid companies people to find out about the max safe temps and then max temps for their ATF. Like I said we ran amsoil in the race car and they didn't get real upset about temps in the 260 range, when we ran Vegas to Reno in 12' they had us run their latest duramax allison transmission fluid as it would take sustained temps better. I think their response to what is the max temp we can run the Trans at was, "talk to the builder because his hard parts are going to fail before our fluid"
Be sure to paint or do any flooring changes before you move. I thought I was going to paint after I got moved in and didn't happen. (was living at mother in laws and needed out) And the longer you live some place the more shit you seem to accumulate so it makes it even harder the longer you wait.
Well, we moved in yesterday, she already is complaining about the mess in the garage and has spent 400 of her own money on house items.
I might as well sell this truck and get myself a mini van.
Actually, she has been saving this and said we are done for a long time unless it's little to free. I'll get started on the man space here at the end of the week, hoping I can start organizing the garage and get my trans in. I'll probably start another thread on the space to get some feed back and tips.
That is only half of it, seriously a kid right now would be super bad timing, I'm thinking in a year or two at the minimum. I would like to have at least one before I'm 31.
Scott is partially on the right track, it kind of scares me to have a kid right now.
