Would think you can gauge it somehow. I know they do in the shop, but the pan is off

I am fairly confident that you can. I watched an old buddy did a pressure test on one years ago with a scan tool and a pressure gauge. But I don't know if it was a 4l60e, or 4l80e.

I do have a scan tool, I'll put it on my list of things to do. I would think the trans would have a pressure sensor.

Well I was a bit low on fluid but nothing bad....

it helped but still has that needing more pedal to get going. once you get going it's great shifts fine, not as firm as I would have hoped out of a vette servo and a shift kit would be. My last one slammed... :dunno: I bet that new pump I have doesn't put out enough pressure.

Couldn't walk passed it this morning.... Had to drive it to work, it did ok. Once it's in gear and going I don't seem to have any problems unless it's in 1st coming to a stop and then it starts to act a little goofy and surge. I also found a gauge I can borrow and give it a shot to narrow line pressure out.

My wife's 07 suburban has a vibration when coming to a stop at slow speeds. It is because the converter is need unlocking. I can manualy down shift it and it will unlock. Might check to see if it is doing something like that.

Vibrations seem to be gone with the new converter, which is good. Just has the dang hesitation like a stall converter.

Checked fluid level with it hot and running? I would have thought so but should always ask

Is the computer still learning because you unplugged the battery?

Shouldn't be, have put enough miles on it and run time that it should have got it's stuff together. Heck this morning it was 30 miles.

Ok. Wasn't sure the learn curve difference on those from a TBI.
Hoping it's not trans related. Again

I suspect it is, I'll check pressures and do some things I can do and probably find a way to drop it off at the trans shop. If it needs a full rebuild again I'm just going to drive it until it blows up AGAIN.

Does it have a warranty with it from the tranny shop?

It semi does, all they did was replace the pump and put it back together. I had the trans built by a gm tech for the passed 40 years, It should be right but...

Tired of playing musical transmissions, I want to focus on putting the interior together, bumpers and small stuff.
