Have drove the truck the passed two days to work, max speed of 82mph... The look on peoples faces as i pass them is to hilarious to slow down.

After looking it over Sunday I need a bolt check, I can see some stuff is loose and needs a once over.

I think I will go front to back and torque everything down and use safety paint on a few things cause daily driven race truck. :haha:

When I was working on our old ZJ I came across an "upgrade" for the puny Dana 30 front axle. They sell a sleeve (tube) that presses into the tubes and weld at the end.
If you are keeping the 10 bolt it may be worth a look at doing your axle. Also, take a good look at Adams axle, he has a killer truss.

Keep in mind the housing is also a weak spot for these axles.

As of right now I will be keeping the 10bolt I don't forsee it becoming a issue if I do regular maintenance. This wasn't made to be a Crawler more of a expeditionary rig that goes down the highway.

Let me know if you need any parts. I've got most of a front and rear 10bolt sitting out back I'm gonna need to get rid of at some point.

This thread needs a table of contents. I haven't looked at this thread in years. Pretty bitchin that it drives. Not used to the new avatar either. What posts can I find your front suspension?

It would probably be much easier for me to post up the pictures you are looking for. Which areas in particular are you looking for?

I could use some spare parts for trail repairs, what would you like for it?

Cheap, no idea what 10bolts are worth if anything. Front I've taken the hubs and outer axle stubs for another project but complete otherwise (knuckles, inner axles center section, think it's got newish calipers too) - don't remember what you have out back. But cheap... make me an offer and I'll help get it in the back of your truck.

We will have to figure something out, definitely interested.

I'm off work today, going out in the garage and doing a massive bolt check, something doesn't feel right.

Doing a bolt check, this is the list in 20 mins what I have found a be loose.

Motor mount plates are finger loose.
Panhard mount frame side, heim and bolt going through.
Lower shock bolt on passenger side

Remember kids lock tight and pinch nuts are really your friends. I have pinch nuts but I have a hard time thinking they have always been this loose.

Lock tite only works when you tighten the bolts

Seriously though, this is why I go inside sometimes and start the next day. It's easy to get ahead of yourself
