Finally got off my ass, filled the rear diff, drained the tcase and oil pan. Changed the trans filter and gasket. Fixed the oil pan level sensor leak and created a list of parts that I need to buy. Next out comes the tcase and I’ll reseal the adapter housing and bolt it alll back together with a ord single shifter for the tcase so I don’t have to crawl under and shift it….

It felt good to work on the ole girl again.

Finally got a chance to look at this, the adapter housing on the trans side came loose. Those 4 bolts were finger tight!

Nord washers on those and ordered more for the tcase side. I swear I have no idea how this happens and it’s only right in the middle of the frame where all the frame flex is….

Wrong bolts, crappy hardware with exhaust gaskets had to cut off cause it seized. Went to use new bolts for the crossmember I forgot nuts. I’m bruised on both my biceps and leg from putting the tcase in.

And I’m so over the heat this summer has been the worst. It was 9am came in after a hour my entire shirt was soaked

I don't know why anyone would want to live in that hell of a place down there. My little brother does too but he's in the air force and can't do much about being there.

I spent about 20 mins unloading a trailer yesterday a 9:30am, nothing very heavy. Was all I was up for.
Close the garage and turned on the second mini split. Leave 1 on at 88 all the time.

I’m working on the side of the house or a driveway, sucks.

Well for the first time in 2 weeks the trans and tcase are supported by a crossmember so that’s good.

Figured I would get one thing done or 2 small things come in for a short break then back out. It’s all easy stuff just little things.
