Yes I know you guys are joking but at the same time I can't hide from the truth.

Not to mention it's hard working all day out side then come home. Tonight's excuse is I got a chapped butt...:doah:
 
Another weekend another no update. :doah:

I bailed a buddy out of a job he took and got $200 dollars for truck parts though.:woot: I also received a early birthday gift from my brother, cordless 20V dewalt impact and drill set.
 
A little update, should be putting in the cross member today.

Those things are crazy bad ass! You know, as much as i poke fun at you for not doing stuff, Have you seen my "build threads"... Not much building... The 78's thread is like 500 posts long and i think the biggest project i have ever done on it is the driver side ball joints... And my 90 "build" has been virtually stagnant for a few months now aside from little tid bits here and there. My excuse is, my garage isnt big enough. But you arent even using a garage! Granted you live in the land of no rain, but you also live in the land of 110* in the shade. I love your build Baba.

I have the over hang of the garage for shade, the truck is in 100% sunlight 100% of the time. :doah:

It's ok, I know I took a longer break then I wanted to. The last coat of primer should be dry in 6 mins. It's in direct sunlight, and the parts are hot to touch after 35 mins baking.

Cash flow should be coming back together here soon where I can keep plugging away. :D I'm hoping for a few more of those side jobs so I can get 1.8:1 ratio rocker arms. :whistle:
 
Oh you so cray! Thats been my problem too lately. My money tree still hasnt grown back since i chopped it down to nothing over independence day weekend... :doah: I need to buy a new windshield for the burb and have yet to feel comfortable doing it. I think i will finally nut up with this paycheck i get tomorrow.
 
I'm almost positive I drilled the motor mount brackets wrong... But the motor sat find on the mounts with no cross member?

:doah:This truck is never going to be done. Dripping off your face into your hands trying to thread nuts and bolts suck! I need to invest in a easy up and a evap cooler
 
I bet it's cuz of no motor. Some weight in there would prolly change some angles... And in sure it was designed with a motor in the rig...


I had to use a center punch to align the center piece, with some force, then bolts tightened one by one
