No worries, so I finally got a hold of the guy, I have 2 weeks from the 26th to move it. Yesterday I ran around the truck with a half inch ratchet tightening everything up. I just need to tighten about 20 nuts on the rear and it's good to go.

That is very true, It also helps the temp has gone down and it's some what bearable in the direct sunlight.

I got the same kind of letter. "Inoperable vehicle within public sight"

I was like "wtf it's in the back yard and only visible by driving down an alley"

Wrapped up the axles enough to through the tires on. Done
Never mind it didn't have an engine, driveshafts, seats, etc.
I just couldn't leave it the way it was....for as long as I do.

Used zinc plated nails that are nylon lined that I believe spread apart when hit. Has 4 on each side holding in the main 2x6 "cross member" The top one has 3 peer side and the piece on the back side has 2 per side.

I'm torn on this front receiver, can't remember what Wade and I came up with. The frame has these bumps in it being a 2wd.

Not sure If I should use the front bumper bracket bolts for 2 then drill another to the right and do a 3 piece square tube to make one or 2 piece and just slot the main tube to fit the receiver tube.


Front receiver hitch and shock hoops are next on the chopping block.

Might as well make use of the two holes that are already there. If you do a rear spring to front spring conversion in the future, you'll end up redoing it all anyway.

Make plates for the frame using the 2 and add the 3rd like you said. Then cut square holes in those for the cross tube to fit into. Weld in said cross tube. Notch for reciever tube.
