I will say this regarding any kind of axle swap. If you are re-gearing or changing diffs, do yourself a favor and get an axle that you won't out grow. If the 10 bolt works with its current ratio, then wait to break it.
Also, I looked into this briefly, but have not fully vetted it. Sounds like some of the jeep and yota crowds think they can get axles of similar strengths by adding higher dollar shafts, etc. If that is true (at least partially) you could end up paying about the same to modify your 10 bolt or a Dana 44 as buying and reworking a 60 but have a smaller lighter unit.
